Some days before there were reports that Musclenerd, a member of iPhone Dev Team has made some advancement for the downgrade of the 06.15.00 baseband and yesterday Musclenerd tweeted that this downgrade solution may be released this Sunday. Mostly, an update to Redsn0w will be around.
This was his answer to a question asked :
I’m aiming for Funday/Sunday for releasing the downgrade from 06.15, but that’s very much subject to possible delay
Many iPhone users had to update their iPhone 3GS/3G basebaand to 06.15.00 in-order to unlock it using Ultrasn0w and at the same time it also caused them problem as it prevents them from using their iPhone’s GPS navigation, which is an important feature.
So, this downgrade will be very useful for iPhone users who are caught in this narrow baseband and will help them to enjoy all the features of their device.
