Apple has just released the iOS 5 final IPSW files for iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPod Touch 3G and 4G, iPad 1 and iPad 2. You can download iOS 5 IPSW files from the bottom of the article.
The long wait for iOS 5has now ended. Users can now update to iOS 5 on their supported devices using iTunes. Check the list of the iOS 5 compatible devices we wrote earlier. You can do it automatically or you can download iOS 5 IPSW files for the respective devices and then install it manually.
You require iTunes 10.5 to install iOS 5.
The iOS 5 was announced back at this years WWDC in June, and several betas of it came one by one and now it is out of betas and into the final public release. iOS 5 brings over 200 new features to the iDevices. You can check out the major iOS 5 features here.
