Several users have been reporting seeing no signal after they downgraded their iPhone 3G / 3GS from 06.15.00 iPad baseband to 05.13.04 using Redsn0w 0.9.14b1. Here is a fix for the ‘No Signal’ issue if you are experiencing a signal loss after 06.15.00 baseband downgrade.

It is obvious that jailbreaking and unlocking can jump your device over to problems like these, but most of them can be fixed. To fix the ‘No Signal’ issue after 06.15.00 downgrade, you could try the below given methods one by one. If you get the signal back when any of the steps are finished, you need not do the next method.

1. Reboot your device
Try rebooting your device to get back the signal. If it doesn’t work, move on to the next method.
2. Update/Reinstall Mobile Substrate
If your Mobile substrate is outdated, open the ‘Changes’ tab in Cydia and update it. If it is up to date, then do the below steps to reinstall it.
- Go to Cydia
- Choose the ‘Manage’ tab
- Select ‘Packages’
- Open ‘Mobile Substrate’
- Uninstall it by taping on ‘Modify ‘ and then ‘Remove’
- Search for it in Cydia, install it again and reboot your device
Still, if it is showing no signal, then try the next one.
3. Reinstall Ultrasn0w
Do the same as above to reinstall ultrasn0w (just use Ultrasn0w in Mobile Substrate’s place).
By now, you will be getting back your signal. Still if you are facing issues, drop a comment below and we’ll look into it.
