iOS 6 To Bring iCloud Tabs, VIP Mail Recipients, ‘Do Not Disturb’ Mode

 

According to trusted sources, there are reports that iOS 6 will have a number of features from OS X Mountain Lion like safari iCloud tab supports, Mail VIPs and ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode.

Earlier, Apple had activated Safari tab syncing through iCloud in Mountain Lion’s 2nd Developer Preview. Now there are reports that this feature is also going to be introduced in iOS 6, which allows users to sync open browser tabs across Macs and iOS devices. The clicking of the iCloud Tabs button opens all the tabs on an iOS 6 device and the tabs are simply shown in a synchronized list, which enables users to quickly pickup desired tabs. The iCloud Tabs button on the iPhone and iPod touch can be located behind the Bookmarks toolbar.

The next feature which is going to be implemented in iOS 6 is Mail VIPs. This feature allows users to spot emails from persons who are marked as important in your contacts. The emails received from these important persons will have a star next to it.

Most of the users gets interrupted by incoming notifications, enabling “Do Not Disturb” mode allows you to hide incoming notifications and alerts. This feature is also borrowed from OS X Mountain Lion.
